Getting around Salt Lake City that week
No other American city puts world-class skiing this close to a major airport. Park City is about forty minutes from the terminal, the Cottonwood canyons about the same, and that proximity is the whole basis of the winter market here. From November to April our Utah work is overwhelmingly resort transfers, and SUVs with winter tyres are the default rather than an option.
Local note. Little Cottonwood Canyon closes for avalanche control with almost no notice, and interlodge orders can trap vehicles at the resort. Winter mountain bookings are quoted with that possibility explained rather than hidden.
If the city is sold out, the nearest alternatives are within driving range: Park City (about 40 minutes), Deer Valley (about 45 minutes), Snowbird and Alta (about 45 minutes). We run those legs as fixed-fare city-to-city transfers.
