About AmericanLimousine.Services
A reservation desk and a vetted operator network rather than a single garage — and we would rather explain that plainly than let you assume otherwise.
What we are
AmericanLimousine.Services is a chauffeured ground transportation company operating across the United States. In our core markets the work is carried by operators we hold direct agreements with — the same companies, the same vehicles and, wherever scheduling allows, the same chauffeurs, week after week. Outside those markets it is placed with vetted affiliate operators through the Limousine Worldwide Directory and the Limousine Association International.
Some companies present themselves as owning every car in every city. Almost none do, and the ones that claim it in fifty states are describing an affiliate network without saying so. We would rather tell you how it actually works: one desk owns your booking, one invoice covers it, one escalation path exists at 3am, and the standards the carrying operator must meet are written down.
What that means for a client
A road show that runs Boston on Monday, New York on Tuesday, Chicago on Wednesday and San Francisco on Thursday is one reservation with one coordinator, not four bookings with four companies. The vehicle class is consistent across the cities. The same person answers the phone at 6am wherever you are. And when something slips — and on a road show something always slips — the coordinator re-times the rest of the day and tells the next host.
It also means we can say no. If a city genuinely cannot supply the class you asked for on your dates, you will hear that before you pay rather than at the kerb.
Standards we require of every carrying operator
- Background-checked and drug-tested chauffeurs, licensed to the class their state requires
- Commercial liability insurance at or above the limits required by the state and by federal regulation for interstate carriage
- Vehicles inspected and maintained on the schedule their jurisdiction sets
- A dispatch contact that answers around the clock, not an answering machine
- Non-disclosure agreements on private-client, talent and executive work
- No subcontracting of our bookings to a third operator without our knowledge
How to verify us before you book
We are listed members of the Limousine Worldwide Directory and the Limousine Association International, and both listings are public. Open them. If you are considering a ground transportation company you have not used before — ours included — checking the register takes a minute and is the single most useful thing you can do.
Corporate accounts can request chauffeur screening evidence, licensing and certificates of insurance for the operators carrying their travellers, and travel-risk teams routinely do.
What we will not claim
We do not publish a fleet photograph of a car we cannot supply. We do not claim to own vehicles we do not own. We do not describe ourselves as a protective services company — we provide security-trained chauffeurs and work alongside your close-protection provider, and we say so on that page. And we are not an ambulance service; our medical work is non-emergency transportation, which the medical page states in its first paragraph.
