Charter covers a production shoot that moves between locations for three weeks, a tour that plays nine cities, a family touring the national parks, an executive spending a month between two offices, or a convention that needs eleven coaches on a published loop for four days.

Pricing is built from the duty day: chauffeur hours, overnight allowance where the vehicle stays out of base, mileage, and the repositioning legs at each end. It is transparent and it is usually materially cheaper than stringing together individual transfers.

Hours-of-service is planned, not discovered

Commercial drivers in the United States are governed by federal hours-of-service rules, and coach work in particular has to be planned around them. We build the driver schedule into the quote — including relief drivers where a day runs long — rather than finding out at 11pm that the coach legally cannot move. It is the least glamorous part of charter work and the part that most often goes wrong when it is not planned.
