Service
Senior Transportation
Giving up the car keys should not mean giving up the day. This service exists so that it does not.
Door-through-door, not kerb-to-kerb
A rideshare drops you at the kerb. This service walks with you from your front door to the car and from the car to the reception desk, carries the bags, folds the walker into the trunk, and is there again when you come out. Chauffeurs assigned to senior work are chosen for patience as much as for driving, and they are not paid by the trip, so there is no incentive to hurry anyone.
For appointments the chauffeur waits — at the clinic, at the store, at the hairdresser — rather than leaving and being re-summoned. Nobody stands outside a medical building in February with a phone, trying to explain where the entrance is.
The standing weekly booking
Most of this work is recurring: Tuesday morning to the doctor, Thursday to the grocery store, Sunday to church, the first of the month to the bank. A standing booking assigns the same chauffeur to the same run each week, which matters enormously — a familiar face is the difference between a service that gets used and one that gets cancelled.
Adult children and care managers can hold the account, receive the booking confirmations and the completion notifications, and pay for it, while the passenger simply gets in the car. Many of our senior accounts are opened from another state.
What we ask you to tell us
Mobility: can the passenger manage a step up into an SUV, or should we send a sedan? Is there a walker, a cane, a wheelchair or oxygen? Does the passenger need an arm? Is there memory loss, and should the chauffeur confirm the destination with the family before departing? None of these are awkward questions to the desk — they are the difference between a good trip and a bad one.
Where a wheelchair cannot be transferred to a car seat, book the wheelchair-accessible vehicle instead; it must be reserved in advance.

Questions
Senior Transportation: frequently asked
Will the chauffeur wait during the appointment?
Yes. Senior bookings are made as hourly as-directed time so the car stays, which is the whole point of the service.
Can the same chauffeur come every week?
Yes, on a standing booking. Familiarity matters more in this service than in any other we run.
Can I book and pay for my parent from another state?
Yes. Family members and care managers routinely hold the account, receive confirmations and completion notifications, and are billed monthly.
Can you take a wheelchair?
A folding wheelchair goes in the trunk if the passenger can transfer to a car seat. If they cannot, book the wheelchair-accessible vehicle, which has a ramp or lift and must be reserved in advance.
Will the chauffeur help with groceries?
Yes, to the kitchen counter. It is part of the service, not an extra.
