Service
City-to-City Transfers
Between two and five hours apart, a chauffeured car beats flying door to door. No TSA line, no gate, no rental counter, and your phone works the whole way.
The corridors where driving wins
New York–Philadelphia, New York–Washington, Boston–New York, Boston–Cape Cod, Los Angeles–Palm Springs, Los Angeles–San Diego, San Francisco–Napa, Dallas–Austin, Houston–Austin, Miami–Palm Beach, Miami–Naples, Chicago–Milwaukee, Seattle–Portland, Denver–Vail and Phoenix–Sedona are booked on this site every week.
On each of them the flight is nominally shorter and the door-to-door time is not: two hours at the origin airport, a forty-minute hop, a rental counter or a taxi queue at the other end. A car leaves from your door at the hour you choose, carries whatever you want to bring, and stops where you ask.
Priced by the route, not the meter
Long-distance transfers are quoted as a fixed route fare that includes tolls, fuel and the chauffeur's return where applicable. Stops along the way — an outlet mall, a winery, a client office, lunch — are priced in at booking. For journeys over about five hours, or where you want the car to stay with you at the far end, see charter.

Questions
City-to-City Transfers: frequently asked
How far will you drive?
Anywhere in the continental United States. Beyond about five hours we usually quote it as a charter, which prices the chauffeur's duty day properly.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes. Tell the desk where and it is priced into the fare rather than added afterwards.
Is it cheaper than flying?
For one or two people on a short hop, often not. For three or more, or once a rental car, parking and checked bags are counted, it frequently is — and the door-to-door time is usually shorter.
