Private aviation transfers are booked against a tail number, an FBO and an ETA, not against a commercial flight. Where the fixed-base operator permits ramp access — and many of the large chains do for pre-cleared vehicles and badged chauffeurs — the car meets the aircraft at the steps. Where it does not, the chauffeur waits in the FBO lounge and the handler brings you through.
We hold accounts with the major FBO chains at the airports on our list: Signature Aviation, Atlantic Aviation, Million Air, Jet Aviation, Sheltair, Ross Aviation and the larger independents. Tell the reservation desk the FBO name and we will confirm the access arrangement before the day rather than at the gate.
Schedules that move by the hour
Private schedules change more often and later than commercial ones. Our dispatch treats a private aviation reservation as provisional until the handler confirms wheels-up, and re-times it as often as the trip changes at no charge. A crew car for the flight deck, a second vehicle for baggage, or a wait-and-return while the aircraft repositions are all normal parts of the booking rather than exceptions to it.
For repeat private travellers we keep a profile: preferred vehicle, preferred chauffeur where possible, water and temperature preferences, and the FBOs you actually use in each city.
