Terms and Conditions
The rules of the booking, written to be read rather than to be survived.
The agreement
A booking is formed when we issue a written confirmation against your accepted quote. The confirmation, together with these terms and the cancellation policy, is the whole agreement. Where a corporate account agreement exists, it takes precedence over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
Fares
- Quoted fares are fixed and include tolls, parking, airport access fees and fuel, and state the applicable gratuity policy
- Changes you make on the day — added stops, extra wait time, a different vehicle class — are charged at the published rates
- Wait time beyond the complimentary allowance is billed in fifteen-minute increments
- Hourly bookings carry a minimum of three hours in most markets and four in some; overtime is billed in fifteen-minute increments at the same rate
- Airline, rail and ship delays are not charged as wait time
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate passenger and luggage counts — a vehicle that cannot carry your party is the one avoidable failure
- Be ready at the confirmed time; excessive delay is billed as wait time and, past a reasonable point, may be treated as a no-show
- Request child seats and accessible vehicles at booking, not on the day
- Declare pets at booking; service animals need no notice
- Behave lawfully in the vehicle. Chauffeurs may end a trip where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or abusive, and the fare remains payable
Alcohol, smoking and damage
Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all vehicles. Alcohol consumption in a vehicle is governed by state law and by vehicle class; the desk will state what applies to your booking. For any group with passengers under twenty-one, alcohol is prohibited without exception. Damage and excessive cleaning are charged at cost.
Liability
We and the carrying operator are liable for loss or damage caused by our negligence in carrying out the booking, to the limits of the commercial insurance in force. We are not liable for consequential losses such as missed flights, missed sailings or lost business arising from traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical failure or events outside our reasonable control. Where we cause you to miss a departure through our own failure, tell us and we will deal with it properly.
Personal property is carried at your risk. Items left in a vehicle are held by the operator; tell the desk as soon as you notice and we will try to recover them.
Cancellation
Set out in full on the cancellation policy page, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the state in which the booking is performed, and any dispute is subject to the courts of that state.
