Service
Medical & Hospital Appointment Transportation
Private-pay non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT): a treatment day is long, and the last thing that should be uncertain about it is the ride home.
Non-emergency medical transportation, done properly
This is non-emergency transportation: we are not an ambulance and we carry no medical equipment or personnel. What we do is take the uncertainty out of getting to a hospital, an infusion centre, a dialysis appointment, a same-day surgery or a specialist in another city — and, crucially, out of getting home afterwards.
Discharge times are notoriously unpredictable. Return legs are booked as on-call rather than at a fixed time: you or the nurse call when discharge is actually happening, and the car is there within the window agreed for that hospital. Nobody waits in a lobby in a gown.
Procedures that require an escort
Many outpatient procedures require a responsible adult to accompany the patient home and will not release them to a taxi or a rideshare. Our chauffeurs can be documented as the escort where the facility permits it, and will wait, sign in at the desk and stay with the patient to their door. Confirm the requirement with the facility when you book — hospital policies differ and some require a named family member regardless.
For out-of-town specialist care we handle the whole day: home to airport, airport to hospital, the wait, and the return, on one booking and one invoice.
Comfort details that are not details
Cabin temperature set before pickup. No air freshener or scented products for chemotherapy patients, who are frequently nauseated by them. A vehicle chosen for step height rather than status. Blanket and pillow on request. A quiet ride with no conversation unless the passenger starts one. These are the things patients remember.
