Chauffeured ground transportation in Miami
Miami runs two calendars. From December to April the city is full: Art Basel, the boat show, the Formula 1 weekend, the Open, the cruise season at its peak and a private aviation ramp at Opa-locka that is genuinely out of parking. From June to October it is quiet and inexpensive. Ground transportation prices and availability follow that curve exactly.
PortMiami is the busiest cruise port in the world and embarkation days are the backbone of our Miami work: airport to pier, pier to airport, and the pre-cruise hotel night in between. Alongside that we run Brickell and downtown corporate volume, Miami Beach hotel and nightlife work, and the runs to Palm Beach, Naples and the Keys.
What we are asked for most here
Airport transfers with the flight tracked and the pickup time moved to the actual arrival; hourly as-directed days where the car waits between meetings with the luggage still in it; corporate accounts with one monthly invoice across every city on the itinerary; and the occasion work — weddings, milestone birthdays, concerts and games — where the timeline matters more than the car.
Alongside those, Miami generates the quieter work this company was built for: senior transportation with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment, non-emergency medical trips with an on-call return leg, and discreet private-client movements in unmarked vehicles.
One thing worth knowing before you book
Art Basel week and the Grand Prix weekend both close roads and fill every SUV in the county. Cruise embarkation on a Saturday in season adds another few thousand vehicle movements on top.
City-to-city runs from Miami
Between two and five hours apart, a chauffeured car beats flying door to door: no security line, no gate, no rental counter, and the car leaves from your door at the hour you choose. These are the routes booked from Miami most often, with the times we actually plan against.
| Destination | Typical driving time | Book it as |
|---|---|---|
| Fort Lauderdale | about 40 minutes | City-to-city transfer |
| Palm Beach | about 1.5 hours | City-to-city transfer |
| Naples | about 2 hours | City-to-city transfer |
| Key West | about 3.5 hours | City-to-city transfer |
| Orlando | about 3.5 hours | City-to-city transfer |
Annual weeks that sell out Miami
In these weeks the constraint is not price, it is whether a compliant vehicle exists at all. Book with the hotel, not with the flight.
| Event | Usual window | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix | May | A stadium-campus circuit with a controlled traffic plan and credentialed access lots. |
| Art Basel Miami Beach | December | A week of fairs, openings and private events spread from South Beach to the Design District and Wynwood. |
