Getting around Indianapolis that week
Indianapolis is unusually well arranged for conventions: the convention centre, the stadium and most of the downtown hotels are connected by skywalk, and the airport is fifteen minutes away. Gen Con, the FFA convention and the major medical shows fill the calendar.
Local note. Race weekend is booked out by the previous autumn and the roads around the Speedway close early. Everything that weekend is planned around the track, not the map.
If the city is sold out, the nearest alternatives are within driving range: Chicago (about 3 hours), Cincinnati (about 2 hours), Louisville (about 2 hours). We run those legs as fixed-fare city-to-city transfers.
