Booking advice. Colorado Boulevard closes overnight. Anyone attending the parade needs a pre-dawn drop outside the closure and a walk in.

Getting around Los Angeles that week

Los Angeles is not one city and it is not one airport. LAX is the default and frequently the wrong answer: Burbank is better for the studios and the Valley, Long Beach and Orange County for the south, Ontario for the Inland Empire, and Van Nuys for almost every private arrival. Choosing correctly saves more time than any driving skill can.

Local note. Awards season and the Olympic build-up both create weeks where every compliant black car in the county is committed. For anything in that window, book months out and expect the desk to say so.

If the city is sold out, the nearest alternatives are within driving range: Palm Springs (about 2 hours), Santa Barbara (about 2 hours), San Diego (about 2.5 hours). We run those legs as fixed-fare city-to-city transfers.
