Worth knowing. Vanderbilt Avenue is the workable pickup side; 42nd Street outside the terminal is effectively unusable at peak.

Why the train is often the better leg

On the Northeast Corridor and the Florida Brightline route, rail frequently beats flying door to door once security and taxi queues are counted.
